Paris, 03 September 2024 —Nordea Asset Management (NAM) is pleased to announce that David Benmussa will join the firm as Executive Director and Regional Head of Institutional and Wholesale Distribution, France and Benelux in August, 2024. Based in Paris, Benmussa will head NAM’s the French and Benelux sales teams and business development activities across both its wholesale and institutional business channels. He will report to Christophe Girondel, Global Head of Institutional and Wholesale Distribution at NAM.
David brings over 20 years of Asset Management experience with him. Before joining the NAM team, he spent 10 years at Amundi Asset Management as Head of External Distribution France & Monaco within its Distribution & Wealth division. Prior to that, he was Head of iShares France at Blackrock. He has also held positions at Schroders and VP Finance. David holds a Bachelor’s De-gree from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts, and two Master’s degrees from the University Paris IX-Dauphine.
